Rosie Giannone

Rosie is an associate at McCarthy Hansen & Company LLP. She previously worked at the firm as a summer student and articling student before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2026.
Rosie holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree (Summa Cum Laude) from York University. At her undergraduate convocation, Rosie received the Governor General’s Silver Academic Medal, an award given to the undergraduate student who graduates with the highest academic standing from a bachelor’s degree program at a Canadian university. Upon entering law school, Rosie received the Honourable William G. C. Howland Award of Excellence Entrance Scholarship.
During her time at Osgoode, Rosie volunteered with the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, which provides family, criminal, and immigration legal services to women who have experienced violence. She also worked as a student caseworker at the Pro Bono Students Canada Family Justice Centre, where she assisted self-represented litigants access summary family law legal advice and prepare court forms. Rosie was selected to represent Osgoode at the National Family Law Negotiation Competition, where she was recognized as one of the top five negotiators.
